power steering

Dear members How after a new hydraulic pump with new original fluid, and a new steeringrack, is the steering still heavy? Any opinions ? Most greatfull

I use Autodoc to browse for parts for my car and this part caught my eye and wondered if it should be changed when the power steering fluid is changed. The owner's manual does not even acknowledge this filter's existence.
