Hi,
I have an older 2006 CR-V 2.2ctdi with around 110k miles on now.
owned car for over 7 years and it drives A1 still.
I always put the 0W-30 Castrol edge in it.
In a year I approximately have to top up with 2 litres between changes.
is it time for me to switch to 5W-30?
I’m ***uming it will help with top ups and maybe protect an older engine better?
I have always been conscious of keeping that chain tensioner lubricated!
thanks for any advice
