Hi first post, just got 05 accord 2.2 cdti, has problem when first start from cold have to prime a couple of times and then it starts and will continue to start when warm. So had a look at fuel filter and knew it was not oem, so fitted new Bosch ff. Unfortunately still same problem will start after a prime and will continue to start until left to cool. Any ideas

I had major starting problems with the same model which were as follows: injector leaking, so that seemed to be where my fuel was going, fuel rail sensor not working which was adding to the problems and on top of that the pressure release valve st the other end of the fuel rail was stuck open. End result was i lost pressure when it was parked up overnight, she cranked and cranked and cranked with no idea what was in the fuel rail and what ever did go in the rail went back to the fuel tank. I'd covered the bases; fuel filter, battery, glow plugs, fuses. It took a fiesel specialist to diagnose and sirt that lot out in the end

When started it runs perfect, drove about 40 mile yesterday and no issues and no lights coming on, doesn't appear to be any leaks around injectors and is there anything obvious about the valve at end of fuel rail

I was thinking that it may be drawn in air somewhere but not certain this could cause my issue

If bleeding it a few times hasn't helped then I would suspect faulty fuel pressure relief valve and/or faulty injector.
