I have read most of the forums and it looks fairly simple job to change the clutch but just like to tell you about my issues and seek advice on setting cruise control switches located on the clutch pedal and pressure plate.
I have a 2008 Accord Diesel and its done 92K without any problems but last week I noticed the clutch was slipping and read the forums which said it could be cruise control issues. Not wanting to change the clutch unless I really had to, I disconnected the cruise control and tried the car. Guess what? I could not make the clutch slip in any gears at any speed. Therefore, I ***ume I have a cruise control problem and not clutch?
Can anyone give me the answers to the following question?
How do I check and adjust the cruise control switches located on the clutch pedal?
If I must change the clutch, how do I load the pressure plate (I can make the tools required)?
Does anyone have sections of the workshop manual to do the two points above?
Thank for your help in advance.
