Hi.

I own a 2010 Honda accord 2.2 I dtec es gt model.

All of a sudden 1 morning the car would not start.
The battery had good power and starter is fine too.

Eventually it started and threw up the po335 code which says crankshaft position sensor A.

Does any one know what this is or has anyone had the same problem as me?

Today the car did the same. But once started and warm the car starts up completely fine.
Please help

Thanks

I've not seen this before on an IDtec. It could be the crank sensor itself or the wiring to it, or the pickup inside the crankcase. If the sensor fails to sense a signal from the pickup it cannot determine the crank position and will not allow the car to start

However I've also seen similar errors on cars that had other issues and when an engine fails to start it can give a crank error, which is actually a red herring.

If it's giving you this error every time then it's possibly the sensor.

Try looking your car up on lings Honda parts for a blow up diagram of your engine
