Hi all,
really stuck on this one, rebuilt 07 2.2 cdti engine that broke oil pump chain. When it was put back together I have a slight misfire at 2400 rpm and a major one at approx. 3500 rpm. When you drive the car it's perfect below 2400 and again to approx 3500 but then all hell brakes loose and it will go into safe mode recording fault p1065. I have replaced the fuel filter, the fuel pump, the injectors, the fuel rail complete with pressure sensor. The misfires are there if you run it out of a can as well. Then I looked farther and rechecked the timing, changed the egr valve, the turbo and the cpk. Looking at the live data the misfire showes up on the boost control solenoid duty with it jumping between 48% and 15% approx for the 2400 misfire. Don't know if this is causing the misfire or been caused by the misfire. Can code p1065 be triggered by other issues than fuel pressure? I have about 40hrs !! spent on this over the last few months so any help would be appreciated.
