Aftermarket Stereo on Bose System

Hi guys,

I have done my research, but totally confused - I'm great with mechanical things, but rubbish with electrics, so please bear with me. I have a 1999 Executive with the standard amp & subwoofer and want to keep them working alongside a new headunit.

The new headunit I've purchased -

The lead I've found that claims to keep everything working but have notice it states 2001 and newer -

Will it all work and have the new headunit working with the standard subwoofer?

If you try it out, please inform if it worked or not. Im in a similiar situation.

I haven't come across any aftermarket lead that works with the Bose amp and sub, you have to soldier some wires to get it working with aftermarket head units, there is a guide in the DIY section.
