probably make as much difference as putting a go faster stripe on the car one thing it does do i noticed in the video is change the colours of your dials

lol, i did similar on my old vti when i removed the aem v2 off it. I installed a spoon panel filter in the stock airbox. For the resonator i removed it and drilled a big hole into the front and fed a pipe from behind the foglight hole for a cold air feed. Once reinstalled the throttle response was epic (almost standard) compared to the V2. Thats the thing with intakes, they're more for noise and you will definately lose a bit of throttle response, but they sound so good so you have to trade.
