I have already got a topic going asking about the differences between petrol and diesel bumpers, but as I've narrowed down exactly where the problem seems to be, I just want to check whether this is due to the mould or the actual difference between the petrol and diesel bumper shapes.

I've circled in the picture below the area which seems most out, around the sides could be made to fit without too much work and with it still looking okay, but this area, at the moment, will need cutting and reshaping to get it to fit which I hadn't budgeted for.

Will this be the case for all moulds, if not, can anyone point me towards a better mould than the one I've got?

Yep I had this kit on mine, perfect fit. It's made to fit both petrol and diesel pre facelift cars

It's a tight fit but it does go. This is without knowing where yours is from.

sorry mate it was just an ebay jobbie from what I remember.. it's been like 6 years

That's a good find

Thanks for that, think it's a good price for an OE part in plastic rather than fibreglass. Just got to try and persuade them to send it to the UK now!

I have a genuine rear splitter.
on phone so in the pic is that part fully home where your hand is.
