I've got two electrical enhancements I'm forging ahead with in order to personalise my car even further that I already have done.
The first being the dipping of my passenger door mirror to dip when I select reverse gear so I can better see the kerb.
I have found where the 'reverse selected' wire is (it's green, and behind the DVD rom player) - but I also need to find the up/down motor wires for the passenger mirror, as well as the Mirror Selector Knob wires (the knob which you twirl to select either the left or right mirror that's on the driver's door).
I'm guessing that in both cases they'll be coming into the cabin via the door grommet.
Of course I intend to probe to find those, but was wondering if anyone can direct me to exactly where they are and what colours they are just to save me time?
My other project - I want the doors to lock automatically when the car starts to move (to around 9mph) and for this, I need to tap into the wires for VSS and for the 'Key-In' signal.
Again, where, and what colours they are?
(the Key-In I would expect to find in the loom under the steering column, but the VSS?)
For info, I have removed the DVD player, but won't be removing the Head Unit.
