The auto headlights on mine seem too sensetive. Driving along the motorway they switch on and off everytime I go under a small bridge which I'm sure can't be great for my headlight bulbs neither, and the satnav switching from daylight to night settings constantly is a bit distracting.

Has anyone managed to adjust or calibrate the light sensor in any way?

I asked this recently and the answer appears to be no.

I don't use the Auto lights anyway.

They work great in every other car I have owned or driven with them fitted, but on mine they are far too sensetive.
Thanks for the reply anyway.

I think mine aren't sensitive enough. If I put the sidelights on when it's starting to go dark, then when it's a bit darker I switch the lights to Auto, the sidelights go out.

Also, if you leave the switch on Auto and get in the car when it's dark, the lights come on as soon as you turn the ignition so you're starting the car with the headlights on. Which I don't think is a good idea as you're putting extra load on the battery.
