Hi,

Has anyone tried these BSD Blades brake discs from EBC ?
http://ebcbrakes.com/product/bsd-disc/

It seem to be the top of the line (also the most expensive), and I was thinking to pair them with EBC yellow pads, but
I'm just not sure how suitable are for street use ?

There was a discussion about this earlier here: http://typeaccord.co.uk/forum/topic/17236-brake-upgrades/

As I mentioned there, if you go with the drilled/crossed disc route, expect to replace pads alot more often. Stopping power is always good but you have to ask yourself does a FWD saloon >200BHP need big sporty discs when it's one of the best stopping cars in it's class already? I ***ume you havn't made alot of performance mods to it anyway.

Personally i'd just get quality Brembo discs and pads or the smooth EBC discs with some GreenStuffs. Just my 2 pennies anyway.

Well everyone is complaining about the stock brakes on the Accord CL .
About the mods, does those from my signature counts ?
I'm not talking about bigger brakes I just want to replace my existing rotors/pads with the same size but something more efficient.
These BSD discs seem to be slotted (not drilled) in order to evacuate the brake gas to prevent brake fading.

If it's that bad as you describe then you can't go wrong with EBC's. Keep us posted how you get on anyway. If you can afford yellows go for them but for an Accord, I should think greens should be more than enough personally.
