2006 Tourer 2.2CDTi
Guys,

Hoping for some intel/opinion on a bit of a bizarre snag with my Accord. I'm a newbie - recently bought a 2006 CDTi Tourer with 115,000 miles on it. It's well up together with impeccable main dealer service history all it's life.

I've noticed that at speeds between 40 and 60 MPH there's a sort of tremor or shaking sensation coming from the front of the car...? It's very noticeable especially when accelerating with purpose - still there, but less noticeable with more gentle acceleration. The car otherwise is superb in every way.

Can anyone please shed any light or make suggestions? There is no steering wheel shake at any speed, the tyres all seem to be fine and wearing evenly - thought the front pair will need to be changed shortly as they're close to the wear markers.

Any ideas gratefully received.

Thanks and regards

It's not something that ever troubled my 7th Gen, but from other's posts might be drive shafts.
Put 'drive shaft' in the search box (top right) and see if symptoms match your own.
Could be something else of course, but it's a place to start.

These are just a few...

Inner drive shaft joints worn. most common cause of vibrations when accelerating.
