Had a complete nightmate , ball joint snapped again so had car taken to garage by recovery truck , garage has fitted new ball joint but now central locking wont work , I have to use the key to open the car but it will only open my drivers door , as soon as I open any other door the alarm goes off , got a little red flashing light on the dash in the bottom right hand corner aswell all the time , it looks like its another night off work for me

Just a thought but has the battery run flat in the key fob?

Does the led flash when a button is operated?

Have you got a spare fob you can try?

Did they disconnect battery? Systems take a while to reset if they did?

Just checked mate and there is no led flashing on the fob when I press it , to be honest I cant remember it flashing before but ill get a new battery for it tomorrow and try it , not sure if they disconnected the battery , im a private hire taxi driver who only works nights if I cant fix the central locking / Alarm is there anyway I can turn it completely off so I can carry on working nights

Thanks

Have you got a spare fob? Does the led flash on that?

Be careful opening up the fob the screw can be tricky.

Out of interest does the central locking work on the switch in the car?

No don't have a spare fob , the car Central locking does work on the switch in the car though

your fob is not working? i had the same happen me last year. I drove from Edinburgh to Stirling with the alarm off. Had to get a new fob battery to disarm the alarm. removing the battery i thought for 15 minutes would clear the memory but the honda alarm is a bit more clever than that.

Okay I'll try a new fob battery tomorrow , fingers crossed it fixes it

Thanks Gary

Good result Gaz
