Accord 2.2CDTI Ex
Hey everyone, ive been browsing around and i cant really find a conclusive answer.

I have a 2006 2.2CDTI Accord Saloon EX

Ive had a few diagnostic machines plugged in, one of which illuded to it being something to do with "passenger side restraint system" or something.
I get the general idea after reading around that its either seatbelt or airbag ignitor related ? Ive run my VIN against the Honda Recall checker, and no recalls are being flagged.

MOT will be coming up soon and id really like to get it fixed.

Thanks all !

Blair

Certainly not a common fault on the accord unlike some other cars.
You could try unplugging and re plugging the connector under the passenger seat after disconnecting the battery first.
Would any of the machines attempt to reset the fault?

Quite a few of them turned the light out. for a little while.
The light isnt always on, some days its on, some days its off.

Ive seen a few bits online about dodgy seat belt fastners. It makes me wonder even if the code says passenger, its more driver related. As im the only one sitting in the seat. having a passenger or not, dosent seem to alter its behaviour in any way.

If it is coming and going then it would definitely be worth checking the connectors under the seats and possibly on the seat belts too. If one isn't quite making contact you are going to get this kind of error.
