Morning guys

Ive recently had a issue with my honda accord ictdi 54 plate

if I leave the car 6 hours or more it struggles to start, just keeps cranking and not firing, under this time it starts on a button, the car had a new battery which is a halfords 096 70ah with 640 cca, ive read that these cars need at least 77ah and a higher cca 740cca? im thinking this is the issue? I have tested the battery with a multimeter 12v no problems and tested the alternator when the car is running getting 14.2 which tells me its charging the system, i was also thinking fuel filter, but would this create an air pocket overnight to create these problems?

I put a car starter/booster on the battery this morning, left it for 30min then after a good 2 mins of cranking it fires up?

any ideas?

battery
alternator
fuel filter
glow plug relay?
glow plugs? (not cold enough surely)

Hi had a simular problem with my old accord ended up there was a small crack in the fuel line was causing a small air lock. Cut the pipe and fitted a bic pen in did the job for over a year bud. Hope thats a bit of help to you

Also a bad fuel pressure relief valve will cause this and it's a very common issue on these.

Can't seem to find any cracks in pipes in and around primer bulb and filter, is there a way of checking if it's the relief valve
