Couple of questions

Hi im new to the site,and I'm new to honda's I've just bought a honda accord cdti 54 plate with full history and 176k on the clock. my question is on start up hot or cold sometimes it struggles to start it runs rough for a couple of seconds sometimes cutting out,then ticks over fine but always drives perfect,I think I also have A noisey alternator bearing/tensioner,the sat nav doesn't have its dvd can someone tell me which one I need and the last question is after about 10 seconds of starting the car up i hear one loud bleep can anyone tell me what it is. Welcome to the Forum. I'm not sure as to your questions, except the Sat Nav DVD Rom. Honda will ask near £200 for a new disc, so you're best off watching eBay. You'll need a pre-facelift disc so it must be version 2.xx I'm running 2.9 I think, but the 2.xx went up to 2.11, so see if you can find a 2.11 somewhere.

Could be a sticking egr valve, bad injector or a simple fuel filter.. Needs some proper diagnostics really.

When the sat-nav comes on it asks you to press the OK button to say you agree not to crash while using it. If you don't press OK within about ten seconds, it beeps and turns off. It could be that.

Ok thanks for that one
