Hi all, bit of bad luck this morning on the way home from a nightshift. Pigeon flew into the front grille, knackered it...and the pigeon aint too happy either. Does anyone know where I can get a new grille from at a sensible price?
It has cracked the chrome effect plastic just to side of the big ' H', does the chrome effect bit come separate or do I have to buy a whole new grille?
Your help is, as always, appreciated.

By the way, pads and discs changed thanks to the guys with the DIY tips(had to drill the screws out of the front discs though)

And the ever so annoying squeaky clutch pedal was resolved with a grease gun,Mobil 28 grease, a very fine pointed adaptor, 3 aircraft technicians and a bit of patience. Worth it though. For those of you thinking of using a syringe and a tube, that works too, get the tubing from a tropical fish place( garden centres etc, fits perfectly on a syringe 75p per metre approx, syringe 50p from Chemist.
 
I would say its a complete new grill I'm afraid.
There are lots of after market sports grills around for the 7th gen at reasonable prices.
 
That's a bummer man. Get on eBay looking for "Honda Accord Breaking" there should be plenty of cars like yours with front ends in tact you can enquire with the seller. But I think there may be a difference between the petrol and diesel, so make sure you state which your is and that there is a difference in the fitment.

Regards the brakes and clutch, that's awesome. Good work.
 
Pigeons in the UK are a friggin joke, cull all the ba$tards.

Back here in Kerry at my mams gaff and despite the absolute ***** roads (had to put dampers on soft), there are no pigeons..

at all.



or seagulls for that matter., too bad there are no jobs..!

I dunno. Pigeons and Seagulls are both a menace, I agree. But like foxes, they only live around Humans because they can easily live off our throw aways and our rubbish. If we didn't waste stuff and leave such a mess everywhere, they'd move onto other food sources. Kind of harsh to kill an animal for living near a good food source.

But let's not make this a thread about the ethics of culling ;) . Let's help Keith find a nice replacement grill :) .

Thanks all, it's dead handy having a neighbour who works for Honda though! New bit on order, centre part of grill ( the bit that surrounds the 'H' ) from the Honda dealer, £70 inc vat, just got to take the grill apart and clip the new one in I reckon. Anyone done it before?
