Hi Guys.
Just wondered if anyone else has experianced a stutter on low revs?
so driving along with light throttle and seem to get a hickup, like a slight blip of the throttle..
I know i have a leaky manifold, is this one of the symptoms??

Many thanks guys.

I don't believe that a leaky exhaust manifold could cause this. I suggest either the EGR valve or the IMRC/swirl valve is a bit sticky.

Yep egr or imrc. Both of which can be solved with our egr off remap if interested.

I would also renew the fuel filter with a genuine dealer item first

Thanks guys.
Sorry for the late reply.
As soo as i posted the thread the computer system at work flagged it as not suitabvle and wouldnt let me look or reply! grr!

I will most definatley be taking you up on the remap and EGR off Fahad. Just be a matter of when not if.
Thanks guys

Hi guys.
Okay... the issue has just changed.
Driving down the A19 with very light throttle and the engine management lights came on along with the dreaded VSA.
Engine not responsive so managed to pull over.
Turned engine off and restarted. it seemed to rev fine but engine management light still on.
Used my code reader and got:
P1248 _ No description
P2138- Throttle / pedal position sensor / switch D/E voltage correlation.

So has anybody had issuse with the the throttle postion sensor before?
The stutter only seems to occur when at light throttle, i cleared the codes nad drove to work. The car seems to like being at a differetn throttle postion (which meant i still got to work in good time! )
Any ideas guys??

My initital thoughts are dirty / worn contact at low throttle postion? Faulty throttle position sensor?

Faulty Accelerator Pedal Position sensor

Relatively common issue

Just done a search on this and i think your right Fahad. Will obviously try cleaning contacts first and see what happnes.
Thanks guys
