DVD Removal - 2004 Car

Looking to get the DVD player out of my car to send it away for repair. 99% sure I've seen this listed on the forums on how to achieve it, but searching for "DVD removal" or "DVD remove" returns nothing.

Does anyone know of a guide, preferably with pictures?

Finally, does anyone know what won't work whilst the DVD player is out of the car?

Should be up to step 12 where the DVD player comes out.

Not entirely sure what wont work - but the car should still be drivable .
