EGR playing up again

So I've had the Egr delete and a stage 1 tune for quite some time and I'm really loving it. But just recently i seem to be having problems with the EGR sticking again anyone else had this problem?

Hi Alun you may have an egr that isn't seating correctly and leaking back into the inlet manifold.

We've introduced a new manual blanking option now which allows you to fit a physical blanking plate.

Cheers Fahad i did a google search after that post and found your your step by step guide to blanking the EGR off on Face Book if I've had the stage 1 tune and EGR delete can i just blank the bypass pipe off like in your how to on FB. Or do i have to have another remap?
​I've tried to blank the EGR at where it bolts to the head with a plate but this dosnt seem to work it just brings the engine light on and goes into limp mode so looks like I'm blanking the wrong end?.

It's a different map mate with error code deletes. It wasn't available when we first tuned your motor
