Sorry if this has been answered before but I can't it if it has.

I've an 8th gen tourer and the other day the lights were left on to the point that the battery was pretty much drained.

Anyhow, I charged the battery yesterday and checked the car started and it started no problem, but there now seems to be some electrical issue. Some things work and some don't,

These things work,
Windows seats,
Seats,
lights (external and internal)
Sunroof
auto lights
wing mirrors
Sat nav
locks

These things don't,
Power boot lid
parking sensors,
instrument cluster, speedo, fuel gauge, rev counter etc

the following lights are lit on the instrument cluster,
handbrake, whether released or not
power steering
ABS
VAS
Airbag

I've checked all the under bonnet fuses and checked the instrument cluster one in the car and all are fine,

Anyone have any ideas???

May need a reset with a diagnostic.. Not seen this before. Could be there is just not enough charge in the battery

Cheers, it could've got that low but now there's enough to start the engine from cold.

Is there any home odb software, I've vauxhall and bmw stuff but nowt for honda

If you're saying that all your dash lights are on then you need a decent tool that can scan all modules like a honda system or snap on.

If you're local I can provide this service.

Did you take the battery out of the car to charge it ?

if not, then try disconnecting the battery for about an hour

Cheers Fahad,
I'm in Northern Ireland so not handy, but thanks for the offer.

Brian I'd thought of that after posting but was away from the house.

Thankfully disconnecting the battery for a while reset everything, so all good again.

Now the only worry with the car is whether the manifold is cracked or not.

Thanks again guys,
Pete

Glad it's sorted. Have a good sniff with engine running at the back and if you smell fumes then likely it's cracked

Occasionally there's quite a bit of smoke in round the engine bay, doesn't smell like diesel and isn't really that offensive smelling either. Mostly happens when it's wet out but definitely isn't steam. It can be weeks between it happening and it doesn't seem to matter whether it's long or short journeys. Seems completely random.
