Engine Judder

Hello,

I'm getting a lot of engine judder whislt stationary, even after the engine is warm. It is due a service right now but that's certainly not normal. Any ideas what this may be? The last oil change was 6000 miles ago, with the 0w30.

Does the judder alter if you press the clutch, thinking DMF?

I think that the guys will need more info from you to be able to help

could be a worn DMF if it happens when stationary. Is it a judder or more like a constant vibration?

Can you hear a rattling noise at all?? a worn DMF will often rattle at idle.

How is the noice when engine rattle... timing chain is a issue for the old accord diesel especially 05 one, that is what I worry in the future my one at present 88k on the clock, but change oil every 5000 miles...

As per above, I would say a DMF if it's also combined with a knocking sort of noise.. any other symptoms?

No rattling noise, and pressing the clutch will not make a difference. If I rev a little whilst stationary that takes a way the judder.

What rev's is it showing at idle and do they fluctuate?

As above also don't rule out an engine mount worn
