EP3 type R seats in CL7?

So i got my hands on a set of these...


So my question is,
Is it possible to install these in the cl7 without having to fork out on rails?
The rails on both the type r seats and the cl7 dont seem to be removable so even buying rails wouldnt really help?

Any info would be appreciated

you have to weld bits onto where feet are to be done imho these are a downgrade from your seats

Thanks toph that makes perfect sense. Might be a bit more work than its worth, just think they are really comfy. may just turn them into computer chairs

They'd make awesome computer chairs, been thinking about doing something similar myself in the not too distant future as mine needs replacing and not a big fan of the bright black and flouro green gaming chairs lol

If you buy ATR recaro seats they should be a straight swap.unless yuou have side seat airbags like in the cl9

Jimmer, I have a set of rails and airbag simulators if you are interested?


these will fit straight into a CL7, recaro seats will fit straight on, have a look at my install below to give you an idea of what can be done
the airbag simulators - resistors are plug & play (no soldering required) - so the airbag light on the dash doesnt illuminate,

I've just sold my car and no longer required, I have seats and seat adapters, rails and airbag simulators for sale

basically for each Recaro u need EuroR rails, which are quite expensive, or u can build a cheap reduction like this
