Hi guys,
New to the forum so I'll introduce myself first.
I'm George and I'm from Northern Ireland. I've recently purchased an Accord 8th gen esgt 2.2 i-dtec. I have only good things to say about it, certainly the best car I've ever owned.
Here's a piccy:

Unfortunately I've hit my first problem. I recently got the EGR pipe blocked as it was leaking. I then took it to a tuner who sorted the ecu and while I was there I took the plunge and asked him to map it.
Well great job, the car felt amazing. Far smoother power delivery and it really shifts. This was until the dreaded slipping clutch. I had an idea before the map that this would happen due to the car having 92k miles on the original unit.
I'm left with 3 options I guess and I'm seeking wisdom:
Thanks in advance for any advice.

- Take car back to tuner and return to stock
- Replace clutch
- Replace clutch with Type S unit
Thanks in advance for any advice.
