Evening Guys,

Well firstly, I haven’t posted in a while just genuinely been really busy with work and of course now its Ramadan as well, so a little more busier and sleeping patterns have been affected hence why the post at this time…. haha

Well this is going to be a long one… id put the kettle on now if I was you ;)

Anyway, Fahad had been asking me for a while now to valet his family cars, at first I had to refuse due to work commitments etc… but today was the day! We arranged this last night at 1am… Fahad drove back from London this afternoon and dropped the car off at mine for around 4ish…

Lets crack on, this is how she arrived, definitely can tell she’s come up best part of the M1! Just general road grime and dirt as you would expect, nothing major, though interior was pretty clean… can tell Fahad is not a messy driver… I was expecting coffee and food stains lol – sorry bro!

Now it was time for a proper thorough jet wash, to remove all the loose dirt and grit as well as majority of those dead insects… and also start off with given those wheels a sparkle, used Bilberry safe wheel cleaner, works really well… can see the purple stuff in the pics!

Then snow foamed, twice. First snow foam left to dwell for around 15 minutes to get all the tar and dirt loose, second snow foam and Zymol car shampoo with a lambswool mitt… only the best for Fahad’s ride!

Grill done twice, to ensure no dirt left on the sides, very easy to miss out…

Now it was time for the engine bay! Used very slow pressure on the lance just to get rid of loose dirt, same with snow foam, just to get it all soapy… then used a hand brush to agitate all the dirt… again, used very low rinse to wash it off, to be on the safe side and not to damage anything!

Now here are the pictures of everything nice and clean yet still wet, going to dry the car with leather chamois ready for the next part… also let engine bay air dry as the weather was nice enough…

Now we start with the body, guys I really recommend using this glaze wax from Poorboys for those light coloured cars… I used it on mine yesterday and really works a treat, makes the car paintwork look really slick and glossy, like a wet look…. Pictures really speak for themselves; you can even see a reflection on this BMW white paint!

final second coat of Dodo Juice wax! Again guys tried and tested! This is good stuff, well worth buying, but remember this is only for light coloured cars, they have a massive range…

Now time to dress up the tyres, I normally use Meguairs tyre gel but this was going to be a no no for this, as by the time I drop it back off to Fahad all the gel spots will be sprinkled over the bodywork, which to the blind eye looks like tar spots! Therefore I used some of my special Poorboys, matte tyre shine, this doesn’t flick of the tyres or anything, very easy to use, I only use this once a year when I go on meets etc… much better than that gel stuff!

Best bling about the car… the exhausts…. Used Autosol metal polish with a cloth, buffed and polished, should stay clean for a while…

Time to get the glass done, inside out… used Zaino polish for this, beads up water really well… as soon as you drive off in rain easily clears it, even the windscreen!

Here are some final pictures guys! I would have loved to spend extra time with it, would have liked to have a coat of Collinite maybe as well as clayed etc… but I suppose that’s for another day ;) Dressed up the engine bay with Aerospace 303 and also two coats of wheel sealant, before delivering it back to its owner! :-D

Now I really don’t hope there are any missed bits what Fahad has to wipe in the morning…
