Exhaust recommendation for 2.0 i-VTEC

Hello guys,

I am looking to fit new exhaust to my Gen7 2.0 i-VTEC. I would like something that will be not too loud but sound sporty and look good too :)

What you recommend? Any advice?

Custom stainless steel is the way to go. Lots of threads on here about it
 
Custom exhaust must cost a bit. Is there anyone worth going too for custom exhaust near Peterborough?

Did anyone try "universal" back boxes? If yes, is it worth spending money on them or is it just a waste of time?
 
You'd be surprised at what you can get a custom made for. Off the shelf parts after labour for fitment can often run into several hundred £££. A custom is likely to be comparable (or maybe even less) and it's normally all done with in a day. It's worth getting a quote. I've been quoted £400 cat-back for my 2.4.
 
I thought about it when the exhaust on my 2.4 was blowing I got a quote of £360 cat back from the bloke at my local powerflow. Check em out.

1.Round
2.Oval
3.Dolphin tale.

It's for disel.Please vote and latter I make desision.

How does it sound? which mode was this just a universal or specially made? Looking to get one for myself also.
 
It is universal fit back box. Got it from German eBay for just under 50 pounds delivered + 30 quid fitting at friends garage.
I could not afford custom cat-back, that is why I went cheaper way ;-)

It sound great, not too loud though - even my miss thinks it is better :)

Nice deep-ish on low revs. Gets louder above 3000 rpm, then when VTEC gets in - proper Honda :)
I have cone air filter fitted as well, so it sounds even better.
