front bumper questions,material?

Does anyone know what the cl9 front bumper is made of?
I dont think its plastic,i have a crack and the paint has flaked off around the area.the bumper material seems a dull yellow ish colour.i want to try and weld it.

Do all petrol cl7-cl9 share the same front bumper?
Is Only difference of the type s the front splitter?
Do diesel bumpers fit the petrols

Thay all share the same bumper only difference is the fog light which is interchangeable.
