Hi Guys,

So I've just had a call back from Holdcroft Honda and was told that a full service with fuel filter replacement will cost me around £455... Surely that's abit steep right?

Is it worth looking for an independent Honda specialist and servicing it with them - does anyone know of any good ones between Stoke and Suffolk (I travel abit for work)?

Thanks!

When my 8th gen reached 75K miles, it had a full service at Honda Lincoln and it was about the same price, all fluids, filters etc.

Buy the parts from Holdcroft and have it done locally somewhere, easy enough to work on. Also be clear on what’s included in the ‘full service’.

if for example it includes a brake fluid, transmission fluid and coolant change too then it’s probably not too bad for a main dealer.

Good point - I've just found a decent looking local garage who's pricing up the full service now but I'll be sure to check in about the particulars.

It's a 7th Gen, mileage unknown.

It will need shims checked, possibly a cam/oil chain and perhaps a clutch so for the price I'd bite their arm off. ;)
