Gearbox oil change.

What oil is the best choice for the Manual Transmission? I've noticed the gears can be a little crunchy and when driven hard the gearstick get warm. Usually the sign of oil well past its sell by date.

Any help much appreciated.

Only use Honda MTF, these boxes are designed and made by Honda themselves and they only work well with Honda MTF, the only third part oil that seems to get good reviews is Amsoil, but I would stick with Honda.

I put in 1.9ltrs like the handbook says. Is that correct or has the amount been updated?

Nope you did that right its 1.9l indeed and will never change.

The fresh oil should make a nice difference, although you will still get a bit nothc-iness in gearchange when its stone cold.
