Got me a Type S

Hey guys, so after the sad bit successful sale of my Lexus GS300 Sport I went and got a 2004 2.4 Type S.

Ideally I wanted a 2.4 Exec with all the goodies but this is what was available.

Mod wise, I'd love to swap the front seat mechanism for the electric seats from the Ex. Is this possible.

Also how easy is it to fit some lowering springs.

Electric seat swap will be a mission, lowering springs - same as every other car, drop the shocks replace the springs and get the car re-aligned. Fine if you've the tools and the know how

I have electric seats and i found them realy an non useful thing to have because when you adjust your seat usualy you don't move it very often...
To me is more an fancy thing

There is a thread on here with a fn2 wheel swap, no way of testing if the airbag still functions though (without setting it off!) you could fit an aftermarket boss and wheel but then lose your controls/airbag.

You'll have to swap the detonators etc, the op didn't mention if they actually got the buttons mapped I think.
It might be a lot simpler and safer to fit an aftermarket wheel and lose the airbag (from an install point of view)

Cheers. I don't remember having steering controls on my EP3 so I guess that will go? My steering wheel is a little worn, and quite thin.
