hi guys,

on my way into work this morning the handbrake light came on whilst driving. i've checked all fluids and the pads have plenty of life in them yet. Does anyone know what the issue could be?

thanks

Yes I agree with Rob, AFAIK your accord doesn't have brake pad wear indicators so good chance it's the handbrake switch. Take the cover off and have a peek. Might be the wire is chaffing between the chassis?

I've been waiting for a suitable daytime weather window to take apart the trim around the handbrake to have a look at the switch.

My abs and vsa light comes on intermittantly ang goes off. For some reason whilst dricing all lights switched off all by themselves.

Got to work and checked all dash lights by using the ignition and all was intact. The handbrake light functions as it should. Only comes on when the brake is up.

I'm clueless as to what happened. Maybe the ecu reset itself? As long as it stays like this i'm 

Possibly a bad wheel speed sensor mate, my money is on one of the rear ones.
