Handbrake not releasing fully on passenger side

Hi All

My handbrake isnt fully releasing on the passenger side. I had a quick look today and am wondering wether this could be the return spring not having enough tension to fully spring it back. Has anyone come across this problem? I can knock the cable lever back to fully release the handbrake but only until i next apply the handbrake. thx

if yours is the saloon (guessing it is) then this is quite a common problem with the caliper sizing have a search theres a few people had this fault

Welcome to ta as Paul said have a search and get to no the site.
Introducing yourself in the newbie section will get you more answers to any questions you have.
My advice is take the callipers of and give them a good clean up with a wire brush there prob just sticking.
