Hey guys, I have a common problem with the dip beam headlights popping. In the space of 6 months of owning the car I must of put 10 bulbs in it. I doesn't have any condensation and the caps are on the back to seal them and its both sides that blow one at a time.
Just out of curiosity what charging voltage do you expect to find with no ancillary on or headlights on? I checked mine and it was charging at 14.2 which isn't too excessive. If the the alternator was over charging, then surely the side lights would be the first to go?
I have just bought some hid's but I want to be sure before I fit them that I've covered all possibilities.
