Headlights alignment

This is my first car which use H1 bulbs for the dipped beam, I'm installing the HID kit atm, and noticed that there has no adjusters to align the light pattern. So I don't really know if it needs to or not.

My car is 06 facelift

There must be adjustment somewhere because my 06 facelift just failed its mot on the headlight aim until the tester adjusted it.

Thought aftermarket hid kits couldn't be adjusted???

The alignment of the beam can be adjusted (u/d and l/r) but the scatter patten cannot be adjusted - this is built into the optics themselves.

BTW, I've seen some of the mechanics used measure tape to measure the height of the headlights. What is the standard height then?
