Headlights to turn on with engine

Is there a possibility to have the lights to come on when the engine starts?

Was thinking to cover the light sensor and have the lights set up to auto. Does anybody tried this?

I will be travelling across most of Europe in a month and a lot of countries require you to have the lights on constantly even during the day.

That’s probably the simplest way to do it.

I think if you turn the switch another click after auto it stays on all the time night or day.

But they stay on when you switch off the car.

On the ES which doesn’t have auto lights that’s correct they stay on all the time even with the engine off. On the EX I think they work with ignition (or they do on our CRV anyway)

Tried mine, its an EX, and the lights stay on when the car is switched off and when you take the keys out and open the door the car tells you that they are on.

I have tried to cover the sensor as well however it doesnt work lol
