HFT Bluetooth not working

My Bluetooth HFT in my 05 Accord, the model which is fitted to the A-Pillar doesn't work.

The indicator light flashes red/blue when I turn the ignition on, and it lights up when I turn the vehicles lights on. However it doesn't do anything beyond that. Has anyone else had a similar problem, or suggest where I should be looking to trace a fault?

It doesn't find it when I look for it. The module doesn't beep nor does the indicator flash or show any colours after switching the ignition.

sorry to resurrect an old thread but we have the same issue on our FRV. It has the older style Bluetooth mounted to the A Pillar.. When you turn the ignition on you see a quick flicker of the blue/red light and that's it. No response, and I can't get it into pairing mode or get it to show on any handset..

Any ideas anyone?
