Intercooler removal

Hi folks

Spotted my intercooler leaking a little, so it'll need to come out for repair or replacement. Which is the best way to get at it - do I take the bumper off, or the wheel arch liner?

Better bumper and you have clear way.how you notice about leak.Is it some different,then you driving?

Thanks. It saves some time knowing which way to go.

The car has developed 'Police Squad' turbo wail and is down a little on power, so I went looking for leaks in the circuit. I moved the battery aside, shone a torch down the hole and spotted it blowing slightly. I don't think this is the cause of the wail (I think the turbo is tired after 115k miles good service), but thought it best to check these things anyway.
