I've had my 3L coupe for about a month now and loved it to bits......Untill tonight i went shopping,drove the car 100yards to fill up,put £25 of super unleaded in,payed,jumpin in turned the key it fired but then the rev's dropped away and it cut out ( no i didnt put diesil in..... ) It took about 5 or 6 trys then i fired up as normal so i pulled back into the car park to see if i had a lead or multi plug lose. Every thing seemed fine it just didnt seem to want to start as normal. I'm thinking it might be the TPS or idle valve so tomorrow after work it'll go into the workshop and i'll blow some carb/intake clear into the butterfly as i would if this was on some of the other cars i've had. Am I on the right track with this? I just dont know these engines you see and it that dont work it'll be a trip to honda.....Oh joy
If anyone has any ideas at all at what this might be because after tomorrow i'll be stumped.
