K20A6 misfire

Hi all,

I've noticed a hesitancy on cold starts. When I first start the car in the morning (on a cold engine), there appears to be a hesitancy low down for the first minute or so. It disappears though and runs fine, despite the engine obviously still being cold.

I've recently replaced plugs and air filter yet it still does this.

Does anyone else have any ideas of what this may be?

were they genuine spark plugs?

which plugs did you use & how much were they?

Hi guys,

Thanks for the responses. They were genuine Honda plugs bought from my local Honda dealer. Can't remember the price but they weren't cheap.

Plug in even a basic diagnostics reader and you will find out which cylinder is misfiring. by switching spark plugs and coil packs over between cylinders you will be able to determine whether it's the coil pack or plug.
