Hi guys, I still have my engine management light, today my auto electrician was trying to trace the wire for the knock sensor as he has diagnosed there is no voltage from the engine knock sensor. He was unable to locate the engine ecu, any ideas anyone? I pointed him in the direction of the center console but he said that was the srs ecu, not the right one. Any help is much appreciated the car is a 2.4 2003 cl9.

It's bolted to the floor under the centre console. Very easy to remove.
Look at the rear of the centre console and on either side of the footwell you will see a triangular section of trim that can be removed, and this reveals the ECU. it's held in by 10mm bolts on either side and needs to be unplugged from the passenger side.
Make sure you disconnect the battery first. I doubt its your ECU though..
