Hi, if anyone is searching for good LEDs to replace the stock interior lights like I was then allow me to share these

These festoon bulbs will fit the map reading lights in the front and the main interior light in the ceiling and give of a pure white bright light

I replaced all the door lights with these and again they work really well, I also put two in the boot but they don't work as well because they need to give off more side light, so will search for some more.

Nice one i used the ones from my 7th gen and are still good after 2 years.

I thought Id post this up in hear as it was LED related.

I bought them from here Flexible RED 60CM 30 LED SMD Waterproof Light Strip 12V
They arrived really quick and are brighter than I thought.

My car has red LEDs in side as standard so I kept to the same theme and it seems to work well I think. I did order some side facing White LEDs to shine into the car but I may see if I can use them round the head lights as those day running light things. Anyway...

Fitting guide.

Take door card off

Remove bulb from door card by twisting it.

feed led wires in bulb holder.

Push the bulb back in its holder which now holds the LED wires in its place.

Attach power wire to door card and check Lights work.

reattach door card.

Total time 10 mins max.

Powering the LEDs this way allows me to remove the door cards fully and not have to touch its wiring.
