Looking to purchase

Hi,
I currently have a Honda civic but looking to upgrade to a bigger car and really like the accord estate.
Is there anything in particular I should look out for?

My diesel saloons been great in the 4 years of owning it. Just look out for rusty sun roofs.

If you fancy a saloon EX GT let me know as I'll most likely be getting a crv next.

Nothing to look out for. its a Honda!! Next to perfect IMHO.

Depends if going for diesel or petrol. Petrol is very reliable and no real issues apart from rusty sunroof if it has one.
Diesel has DPF issues, not often to get a used 8th gen under 50k miles so factor in a replacement dpf at £1100 sometime in the future or a cheaper delete by Fahad. If thinking long term ownership consider clutch, DMF, Turbo, EGR and other common diesel issues against mpg savings. Also real world 40mpg if 50/50 motorway/town driving. Petrol gives approx 33mpg for 2.0 and 2.4 If doing about 12k miles a year I would go for the 2.4
