Low range stutter/hesitation

Hello guys.

My car has just developed a minor problem.
If I slow but stay in the same gear then try and pull away, if the revs are particularly low, 1000ish, occasionally i get a slight hesitation/stutter. It doesn't happen every time, and usually clears very quickly and pulls away. Any ideas please?
The car is serviced on schedule, inc a new genuine fuel filter in November.
