WHY BUY MINTEX BRAKE BOX
perfectly matched for maximum performance To slow or stop your vehicle braking systems use the friction caused by forcing together two surfaces - one of which is usually travelling at very high speed. Everyday driving causes these surfaces to wear and friction levels fall but by simply replacing the brake pads without replacing the discs your vehicle`s braking performance and ability to brake safely will be greatly reduced.

Brake Box is a new concept that brings together brake discs and pads specifically engineered using Matched Friction Technology to ensure they will provide the maximum braking force for your vehicle. This means shorter stopping distances in all road conditions and improved safety for you and your passengers.

As with all Mintex brake pads Matched Friction Technology components are both dust-free and squeal-free plus they wear more evenly than conventional discs and pads thus extending their life-span and your vehicle`s service intervals.*
The benefits of fitting Brake Box pad and disc sets

Available for most popular vehicles on today`s roads
*Mintex recommend brake safety checks at regular intervals

Here is a description of the brake system i am getting the MDK0097 Kit which supplies both front discs and pads as a set for under £50

Has anyone actually used them?

Are they any good??

Thanks Time to get the brakes sorted now i have the time between finding new job :( Merry Xmas from my old employers Pressy = P45 LOL

Bought a set of front and rear pads from camskill for approx £40 and had them fitted a month ago on my 7th gen.

So far so good.

Was told by my mate (mechanic) who fitted them that they are very good pads.

Can't comment on the discs though as only had pads fitted.

Mintex are very good quality pads. If you're not going Honda OEM then you can do a lot worse than Mintex.

Hi guys
I was told recently that they are not too good and I would be better going for oem can anyone shed any light as I`m going to change them shortly but if I can get them cheaper than oem and there are plenty on e bay then thats what I will do.
Last ones I saw were up for about £117 is that a good price ???

listen less to others... thousands of people are using them and are satisfied... but if you wanna spend a spare 100 then sure buy oem... I payed such price for ferodo premier....

I used to use MIntex back in the 80's/90's on my rally prepped Escort Mk1. excellent stuff IMHO
