2009 Accord CU3
I recently acquired the pukka workshop manual for a 2009 Accord 2.2 i-DTEC EX from www.winchestertrading.co.uk and it works a treat once you get used to a few idiosyncracies. However, in many places there is a choice of diagrams/instructions depending on which version of Accord you have. I don't know which version mine is.

The choices are:-

1) N22B-Euro 5, N22B-KN

or

2) 4D-N22B-KE/KG-Euro 4

As far as I can tell, my car model is CU3 (characters 4-6) of the VIN code and the engine number starts with N22B

I suspect it's something to do with the installed options (automatic/6MT, LKAS, automatic cruise control, crash avoidance, navigation, etc).

Can anybody please enlighten me as to which of the above 2 choices I need to make?

Thanks

The 2 choices are the Euro4 or 5 version of the N22B engine.

Does your engine number show the KN or KE letters. Engine number is on your V5 reg doc, it might also say if it is Euro 4 or 5.

Euro 6 is in force now, so I'd imagine the 8th gen would be Euro 5, but I could be wrong.

Yours should be the euro5 car. They come with the new piezo injection system and a dpf to comply.

I didn't even realise they did a euro 4 in the IDtec
