The trip computer has a mode that displays a bar graph of (near) instantaneous mpg. On my diesel, it goes from 0 to 60, and it hits the 60 when cruising on the flat, or downhill.

Just idle curiosity, but do petrol models have the same scale?

Carl I have it on mine but goes to 90 I think.
But mine is an 8th gen

can someone please post a picture of their facelift clocks with the MPG reading as i want to see how the clocks differ to the pre facelift! Thanks :)

Not a briliant photo, but...

Wow that's perfect thanks for the effort!! Looks similar apart from the petrol and temp gauge are in wierd positions :)

there is a couple on ebay but they aren't cheep . what would you do about the millage though is it easy to reprogram one or Is the millage stored not in the clocks but some where else in the dashboard?

ide definatley like to try this also but rather some one else tried it first :)

I was going to look for clocks with similar mileage so at least the mileage stays approximate? How do u get mileage correction? I Dont know I just wanted to try it lol, didn't think about mileage. Therefore us it illegal to switch out ur clocks without an authorised person doing it? :s
