Hello everyone,if anybody still owns a 6 gen accord,I need some Help.
I own a 6 gen 1.8 Hatchback F18B2,before a couple of days I went to the petrol station to fuel up and when the tank was full the fuel started spilling. That didn't happend before as I was never filling the car all the way full.
Here are some pictures fram the petrol station.

I was wondering if someone had the same problem?
And where can fuel leak from on the top of the tank,I don't think it's the fuel pump because it should be sealed. Right? Some other hoses in that area where I can look without lowering the whole tank?

Been there, done that with a motorcycle fuel tank that looked fine, until I filled more than usual to get down through France in one go. A seal at the base of the tank gave way, possibly helped by a bit of enthusiastic riding as I neared the Pyrenees on some lovely roads.

The larger mass of fuel compromised the tank welds.

You can buy all sorts of products nowadays, fuel tank sealer, repairer etc. Not used any myself and usually a proper repair/ replacement would be preferable. If you can't get a replacement there are plenty men in sheds from the classic car world that'll fix it. After all a Mk6 is a classic nowadays.
