Howdy folks,
Just browsing around and I've noticed there is a new xcarlink system available:
http://www.xcarlink.co.uk/home.php?cat=3
Claims that car control now work with apps such as Spotify, Google Play etc.
Has anyone on here installed this new system and can they verify?
I've been looking at alternatives to Xcarlink as I have an android phone with spotify, and without being able to use the car controls I couldn't justify the cost, but if the steering and touchscreen (satnav model) controls now work then it's probably worth it.
If not another option I was looking at was running an aux cable into the armrest, then using something like this:
http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/kanex-airblue-portable-bluetooth-music-receiver-a58nf
So it's charginig via the 12v in there permenantly as well.
There is always the 3rd option, bluetooth/FM transmitter combo, but not sure the sound quality would be too great.
