That sucks! But yes, fronts are the same, but pre-facelift/facelift are different, also, the diesel and petrols normally have different fitting points on the top of the grill, so you'll need to ensure you check the specs of the cars and ideally match yours as closely as possible.

7th gen Accord front bumpers are something that I've done quite a bit of research on. 
Pre-facelift cars have different bumpers between petrol and diesel. They look the same from the outside but the diesel is shaped differently to go around the intercooler.
Facelift cars have the same bumper.
Both pre-facelift and facelift Type-S cars have different bumpers to the rest. The foglights are different and it looks a bit sportier.
